Important Care for Your Solitaire
Because this design features a raised stone held by classic prongs, it requires specific care to ensure it remains secure for a lifetime.
Understanding the Setting: Stainless steel is an exceptionally strong metal. It is normal to experience very slight movement or "twisting" of the stone within the prongs; this is a characteristic of the setting and is not a fault.
Protecting the Prongs: While steel is tougher than silver or gold, prongs can still snag or loosen if caught. To prevent the loss of your stone, please remove your ring during:
Dressing & Undressing: Snagging on clothing is the most common cause of loose prongs.
Sleep & Showering: To avoid catching on bedding or exposure to soaps.
Active Tasks: Remove for exercise, DIY, heavy housework, or gardening.

2) Take it off when applying purfume/hand sanitiser - It’s best to remove your jewellery when applying perfume, cosmetics, hair spray, lotions and hand sanitisers as these contain harsh chemicals.
3) Remove when house cleaning - Harsh chemicals found in cleaning products will damage the finish of your jewellery piece instantly. Rings, in particular, can be easily bent or scratched.
